1) First sign-in and basic setup

Use this once when a new lab starts working on the software.

  1. Sign in with your username/email/mobile and password.
  2. Open Lab configuration and verify: lab name, address, phone, logo, letterhead, and report footer.
  3. If your lab uses email notifications, contact us for configuration.
  4. Open Users & roles and assign each staff member a role and module access.
  5. Run a test cycle: register one dummy patient, add a test, enter result, and print report to verify branding.

2) Daily front-desk workflow

Use this process for every new patient visit.

  1. Go to Patients → New visit.
  2. Enter demographics (name, gender, age, contact, MR if available).
  3. Select tests from the catalog and confirm panel and hospital / clinic directory link (if applicable).
  4. Verify discounts (panel/default/manual), then check total, paid, and pending amounts.
  5. Save visit and print receipt. If email is enabled and patient email is valid, credentials/notice are sent automatically.

Tip: Always capture mobile and email at registration to reduce report-collection delays later.

3) Tests and parameter management

Maintain a clean catalog so reporting remains fast and accurate.

4) Result entry and approval workflow

Recommended bench-to-approver flow.

  1. Open Reports workbench and filter pending visits.
  2. Enter values parameter-wise; save progress repeatedly (do not wait until end).
  3. When complete, click Send for approval (parameter or report-sheet mode).
  4. Approver reviews in Approver dashboard, approves values/report sheet, then sends for print.
  5. Final report can be generated with or without header, and notification can be sent if enabled.
